Yikes
OK, was riding around near U of M on Thursday and what did I see in the bush?
First time in my life to see a coyote in the “wild”… make that CITY. I only saw it for a few seconds, but one thing really stood out, it was WAY bigger than I thought a coyote would be. Cool.

That’s funny, I just got back from the Hills, and I spooked a wolf while riding!… just about crapped myself.

When I did a search for a photo for the post, I actually found a page on Prov of MB website about them, there was even info on what to do if you corner one and are about to attacted – OK. Apparently always fight back. Good to know.

Seems to be a good year for coyotes. Seen a few healthy ones driving to work but not riding, in close proximity like this. Pretty special.

That’s awesome Kevin! I can’t believe an animal so wild would even come near the city…
I had a run-in with a Black Timberwolf last year at sandilands…. I didn’t know what the heck it was- until i did some research and found out that there were black timberwolves and they were actually fairly common… beautiful animals tho
