Where’s the Beach
If you don’t have an MCA license, but wanna race, this is your lucky weekend. This Sunday, July 3rd, Olympia CC is hosting the “Where’s the Beach” (formerly Beach to Beach, Reach the Beach etc.) There are 33, 66 or 100km options & save some money if you register before July 1. Not sure why, but I have never done this race, but if the family lets me go, I am there this year. Hope to see some other Tinker riders.
Low pressure
OK, I’m a fan of low tire pressure, usually low 20′s, but I found this pic in the gallery section of Marco Fontana’s website. The rider is Jaroslav Kulhavy. Sure he just landed a jump, but that’s pushing the limits. Fontana’s photo gallery has amazing XC images BTW, way better than the usual stuff.

Mind blowing
Jed Mildon, some dude from New Zealand has pulled a triple flip on a BMX. This video gives the back story of what it really took. I love the smooth airs this guys pulls onto the airbag around 4 minutes. Enjoy.
