Back 40 – July 4th
We finally have our approvals in place and the new date is July 4th. All other details remain the same. Now cancel any other plans and register if you haven’t already.
Big Valley road ride
Craig D put out the call Sat am and apparently I was the only one with time on his hands. Calm breeze, plus 7, fog rolling in and out…beautiful. Craig out-pulled me nicely. Good to ride the Big Valley to Windygates again.
Snowshoes rock
Spending some decent time on the lake trail with snowshoes. A bit slow but the dogs love it, and the north side drifts are pretty crazy. Fun to see the trails at a slower pace (I know, I know, I always see them at a ‘slower’ pace). Scott and I had a surreal ride on the hardpack just before Xmas and the big snow. The lake was our playground.
